Since 1983 when I retired from the Air Force I have been doing appliance and home repairs. I started out with passing out business cards to Property Managers and going all over the island to get jobs. I did everything from replacing mailbox posts to repairing washers and dryers. Over the 20 years I have been doing this work I've managed to get a strong client base and now can limit the area and the kinds of jobs that I take on. One of my biggest costumers is American Home Shield, a home warranty company on the mainland. A couple of side jobs I have taken on recently is repairing fitness equipment for ICON out of Utah. They have Nordictrack, Proform, Weslo and others. Also I repair adjustable beds for Orthomatic in Fla. and Leggitt and Platt in Cal. |
